The Carbon Trust is a not-for-profit company with the mission to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy. It provides specialist support to help business and the public sector cut carbon emissions, save energy and commercialise low carbon technologies. By stimulating low carbon action the Carbon Trust contributes to key UK goals of lower carbon emissions, the development of low carbon businesses, increased energy security and associated jobs.
Salix is an independent social enterprise, a not- for-profit company limited by guarantee, which works with UK public sector bodies.
Salix provide funding for proven technologies which are cost effective in saving CO2 and will enable any further energy saving technologies to work at their best. Salix projects include insulation, improved glazing, and lighting and heating upgrades, IT improvements, swimming pool covers, voltage reduction or better boilers.
Through a mixture of loans and grants, it has engaged with 488 public sector bodies and to date has funded 4,300 projects which have saved energy valued at £85m.
Brookvex ECO provide support to southlondon.biz, Greening Business Advisors and a partnership of six South London local authorities - Kingston, Lambeth, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth.
Their team of Greening Business Advisers visit local businesses to review their energy and waste management, and work with organisations to draw up an action plan and help implement agreed green policies.
Brookvex ECO supports this initiative by providing training and advice on the eco products and solutions available in the market alongside providing the implementation and maintenance of advised eco solutions.
The wide-ranging support programme is open to small and medium sized businesses (1-250 employees) and offers 12 hours of free advice and support to encourage businesses to take action on waste and energy, water and/or CO2 reduction by reducing, reusing and recycling. Go Green Plus is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Kingston University London - The Sustainability Hub
The Hub acts as a focal point for all aspects of sustainability within the University and works to develop local, regional, national and international networks to further the sustainability agenda.
Brookvex ECO Den
Key representatives and eco ambassadors from our accredited partners also reside on the panel of experts at our ECO Den and are regular contributors at our ECO Academy.
At the Brookvex ECO Den the expert panel are continuously evaluating innovative products and solutions to bring to market and help organisations to be more eco intelligent in order to reduce energy usage and save costs.
The Brookvex ECO Academy provides an educational, information platform for environmental awareness training and a variety of courses and workshops relating to sustainability.
